Paws for Stories is an awesome program for beginning and struggling readers who like dogs! It’s an exciting opportunity to read aloud to a dog and make a friend! Dogs and their owners are trained and generously provided by St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program. Many children find that reading aloud to a trained dog is much less stressful than reading to a person, which helps encourage them and allow them to enjoy reading!
