Judy Rebick has spent her life leading the charge for social justice through print, broadcast and in the streets. Formerly the president of the National Action Committee on the Status of Women, Judy has hosted two national TV shows on CBC and continues as a frequent commentator on the airwaves.

Easter Monday High School Hackathon

The Aurora Hackathon invites high school students to showcase their innovation and create a technology based solution to a real world problem through programming, software development, web design and App creation.

Over the course of 26 hours, teams are challenged to create a functional Android App and present their prototype to a panel of judges. (For specific App specifications contact: tneale@aurorapl.ca)

Drag Queen Story Hour!

Our second annual Drag Queen Story Hour is a magical story time experience hosted by Eva Lasting! The stories will help children learn that it's great to be who you are, and parts of the event will be interactive (but participation is optional). Children will get to be part of the story, wear some silly costumes and even strut their stuff bringing out their inner performer! Feel free to come dressed your best glamorous outfit!
