Maker Day: Cord & Knots

For June’s Maker Day we will be making a macramé hanging planter. Create an elegant cord hanging planter, with nothing more than knots. Lots of knots!
Register by emailing lgreig@aurorapl.ca with your last name and valid library card number. One kit per card, ages 13+. Kits are limited. *Plant not included.

Train your dexterity and patience to produce wonderful decorations with paper and glue. Crafts made with you live on Zoom!
Register for your kit on March 25th by e-mailing jcheung@aurorapl.ca with your last name and library card number to place a hold on a kit.

Pick up the kit with the rest of your library holds starting on March 26th.

Take your kit home and join us on Thursday, April 8th at 7PM for a live tutorial on Zoom!

Birth Totems

Todd Jamieson of the Oneida Nation of the Thames is an artist and educator. Join him for an evening of learning and creativity as he shares the richness, beauty and symbolism of his culture. Todd will lead participants in creating their own woodlands-style drawing based on their personal Birth Totem.

To celebrate World Sleep Day, pick up a special Maker Day kit to make your own eye mask at home. 

Follow along with our online tutorial and make something that will help you get the sleep you deserve!
