Tales for Twos and Threes - Winter 2017

Tales for Twos and Threes is the perfect introduction to storytime and group activities! We read stories, sing songs, and learn rhymes! We colour and do other awesome activities! Children must be two or three years old to participate, and they must be accompanied by an adult.

Children ages 8-10 years are invited to sign up to join Aurora Public Libraries FIRST® LEGO® League Jr. teams!

FIRST® LEGO® League Jr. is an amazing chance for kids to use their curiosity and creativity to develop solutions for real problems using science, technology and LEGO®! Each year, First Robotics issues a challenge to all teams to solve a problem, and our teams will work together to solve this year’s challenge over a number of weeks, ending with a showcase where they can present their solutions to members of the public!

Preschool Storytime - Session 2, Winter 2017

The aim of our preschool storytime is to encourage a love of books and introduce kids to being in a group of their peers on their own. Stories, songs, educational videos and crafts are all a part of this program! Children must be at least 3 years old at the beginning of the program. Children attend this program on their own, but parents/caregivers must stay nearby in case they’re needed.

Mad Science: Up, Up and Away!

Watch while we make a hot air balloon out of a dry cleaning bag, create giant smoke rings, a Dinosaur Sneeze and demonstrate how pressure can be used to create special effects in the movies. Our grand finale will thrill everyone as an audience member experiences the wondrous and floating powers of a Mad Science Hovercraft!
