Family Fort Night!

When the library closes on Saturday April 1st, the fun begins!  Bring your fort building sheet, a flashlight and your family for our first ever afterhours program!

Families must be in the Optimist room at 4:50 pm.  Once we lock up the building we will get down to business of fort building and picking stories to share.  Then it’s lights out and flashlights on!

Library Building Days

Join us for some creative building fun at the Library’s Building Days! We have lots of LEGO® and Duplo® for you to build with, and awesome books to give you ideas! You’ll have a chance to meet new friends and work together with them to make amazing brick creations—buildings, vehicles or whatever else you can dream up! This is a free-form program, so come when you can, build as much as you want, and then leave when you’ve had enough.

Teddy Bear Tea for Grandma/Grandpa and Me

Bring your favourite teddy and Grandma or Grandpa along for tea time and fun at the Library to celebrate Ontario Seniors’ Month!

We’ll start with a craft, provide lots of fun books for you to read together or check out, and of course, we’ll give you a delicious tea! Please tell us about any serious allergies when you register.

Date and time: Saturday June 3, 2:00-3:30 p.m.

Location: Magna Room (next to the café in the lobby)

Ages: Children 3-10 years with a grandparent or other older adult.

Library LEGO® Days

Join us for some creative building fun at the Library’s LEGO® Days! We have lots of LEGO® for you to build with, and awesome books to give you ideas! Summer Rainbows

This summer, it's time to get out your rainbow loom and start having fun! Come out and create cool summer designs, such as a beaded ladder bracelet, barefoot sandals or a smiley face. Bring your rainbow loom and hook. All other supplies (including elastics) will be provided.

Ages: 6-10 years

Drop in every Wednesday to see what we’re exploring this week! Art, science, technology, and more, all lots of fun! Activities will be hands-on, sometimes you’ll make something to take home, sometimes you won’t, some things may be messy, so don’t come in your best clothes!
